School Policy
At Swim It Right, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and structured environment for all our swimmers. To ensure smooth operations and the best learning experience, we kindly request parents and guardians to follow our school policies:
Disclaimer
You will be deemed to have accepted the terms of the “School Policy” upon registering with any of the services or programs provided by Swim it Right Pte. Ltd. Swim it Right Pte. Ltd. reserves the rights to accept, reject, or terminate any person from the services or programs provided by the company. In the event of a situation that is beyond the control of Swim it Right Pte. Ltd., we will at our sole discretion take commercially reasonable steps to cancel, postpone or discontinue any program.
Swim it Right Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to use any images taken during the period of the services or programs provided to the participant in any way deemed suitable for promotional purposes without further approval nor payment. However, in the event if you prefer that the images not to be publicized, you will notify Swim it Right Pte. Ltd. through writing, in which the company will take commercially reasonable steps to remove the images involved.
Indemnity
You (whom are hereinafter referred to as the “Student”), Parent or Guardian of the Student hereby indemnify and agree to keep the Swim it Right Pte. Ltd., its owners, management, instructors and employees of the services or programs fully indemnified against all claims, loss or damage whatsoever in respect of any death, injury, disability or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from any cause in connection with the services or programs provided to the Student.
Guidelines for Students:
1. Be punctual for lessons.
2. Give your fullest attention to your Swimming Coach during the lesson.
3. Do not hesitate to ask questions when in doubt.
4. No pushing or running at the poolside.
5. Be positive about activities carried out during lessons and give your best.
6. Avoid missing lessons.
7. Follow all instructions given by the Swimming Coach at all times.
Guidelines for Parents/ Guardians
1. Please assist in bringing your child for lessons punctually. No extra time will be given for latecomers.
2. Do not let your child enter the pool without the supervision/ company of an adult. A child should not be in the pool without an accompanying adult.
3. Please do not interrupt when a lesson is going on. If you wish to speak to the Swimming Coach regarding your child’s progress or have other queries, kindly email hello@swimitright.com and we will reply within 3 working days.
4. Please do not reprimand your child with regards to their progression during class as this may cause adverse psychological effects on your child. Each child is unique; hence progression will differ from one child to another.
5. Please arrange for your child to be picked up or attended to immediately after lesson.
6. Students who participate in Swim it Right programmes do so entirely at their own risk. Swim it Right shall not be liable for any injuries sustained by students directly or indirectly related to or as a result of his/ her participation in the programmes.
7. You may view your child’s Progress Report on our Student Portal. If you wish to know more about your child’s progress, kindly email our support team at hello@swimitright.com. Our coaches may have back-to-back lessons or need to leave immediately to another location for the next lesson.
Terms of Service
Please read ‘Terms of Service’ in the ‘School Policy’ carefully. Upon payment made for any service(s) provided by ‘Swim it Right Pte. Ltd.’, you (our customer) acknowledge and agree to be bound by the provisions of this agreement. If you are not willing to be bound by the ‘Terms of Service’, please promptly inform ‘Swim it Right Pte. Ltd.’ and its representatives for discontinuation of service(s). The school, ‘Swim it Right Pte. Ltd.’ and its representatives, reserves the right to discontinue services in the event that a customer does not comply with the ‘Terms of Service’ contained herein.
For students under the age of 18, the parent/ guardian of student will represent the student and undertake the responsibility to abide by the ‘Terms of Service’.
Payment Information
Swim it Right is committed to delivering quality programmes and classes to our students, and at the same time, ensuring our coaches are fairly remunerated and taken care of. As much as our coaches are committed, professional and reliable, we seek your understanding to treat our coaches, staff and programmes with the same respect as you deserve.
1. Lesson fee is payable before the commencement of the first lesson or a new month/ term of existing lessons.
2. Any credit of lesson fee will be updated in student’s account and can be utilised for subsequent invoice only.
3. Lesson fee is to be paid promptly upon invoice issued. Receipt will be issued upon payment received.
4. The school reserves the right to disallow students from proceeding with attending lessons, making lesson or replacement lesson booking, if outstanding invoices have not been paid.
5. Students registered in Private Classes are billed monthly. Students registered in Group Classes are billed termly.
6. Please indicate the invoice number for all payments made.
7. Payment can be made via:

8. Fee paid is non-refundable, non-transferrable and cannot be prorated or carried forward, without the prior approval of the school. Fees are to be paid in full even if student is not able to attend lessons.
9. Lesson fee is subjected to change with ample notice given to the students.
Additional Costs Imposed by External Parties
The school will not absorb or pay for any additional costs such as but not limited to administrative charges or pool usage levies requested or imposed by external parties such as but not limited to the management agents or offices where the student’s swimming lesson venue or pool is located. Such additional costs, if necessary, will have to be borne by the student.
School Schedule
Every term consists of 12 weeks. Lessons will proceed weekly without fail during the term. Regular lessons that fall on Public Holidays and School Closure Dates will not be conducted and billed, and no replacement lessons will be needed. The school reserves the right to make changes to the school schedule with prior notice.
Replacement Policy
A student who is late for a regular lesson will not receive a replacement lesson or extension of time.
Replacement due to lesson cancellation:
The school will provide up to 2 replacement lessons per term for the following lesson cancellations:
a. Bad weather (hazardous air quality/ lightning risk/ heavy rain only)
b. Government regulations
c. Private or condominium pool closure (it’s the student’s duty to provide notice to the school/ coach at least 2 hours before class commencement)
d. Coach absence with no cover coach available.
Replacement due to student absence:
The school will only issue 1 Absence Voucher per Term with 3 months validity from the date of absence, subsequent requests will be rejected regardless of reason. For a request to be approved successfully, the student will need to inform the school at least 2 hours prior to scheduled lesson, otherwise lesson will be deemed forfeited.
The school will not be responsible to replace or guarantee any replacement lessons of equal value, regardless of reason, even when advanced notice was provided. Student can utilise their voucher via the following options:
1. Term Replacement
2. Suitable Ongoing Standard Group Lessons
Students are welcome to request for an Absence Voucher by submitting a Request for Voucher.
Replacement due to coach unavailability:
The school will immediately issue a Cancellation Voucher if:
· Regular coach and a cover coach are not available for a lesson
If a regular coach is not available for a lesson, the school reserves the right to arrange a cover coach for the class with prior notice provided to student.
If a replacement lesson was cancelled
A student will be able to rebook another replacement lesson if the replacement lesson:
· Did not commence and
· Was cancelled due to:
o Bad weather (hazardous air quality/ lightning risk/ heavy rain only)
o Government regulations
o Private or condominium pool closure (it’s the student’s duty to provide notice to the school/ coach at least 2 hours before class commencement)
o Coach absence with no cover coach available.
Student absence and tardiness for a replacement lesson
A student who was absent or late for a replacement lesson will not receive any further replacement lesson or extension of time.
Replacement Schedule & Booking
At the end of every Term, it will be followed by a week of Term Break where Term Replacements will be scheduled:
· Students of all class type with a valid voucher can proceed to book into the Term Replacements scheduled.
All replacement lessons are:
Available for booking 1 month after the new term commences.
To be booked 3 days (72 hours) before the lesson
To be booked by students on our Student Portal only. The school will not be responsible for informing, reminding or booking replacement lesson for student.
Valid for a period of 3 months from the date of regular lesson cancellation. Any expired or unconsumed replacement lesson will not be extended, refunded, transferred or credited.
The school reserves the right to:
Cancel a replacement lesson if no student bookings were made on our Student Portal 3 days (72 hours) before the lesson
Make changes to a replacement lesson. Prior notice will be provided to students if changes are made.
Credit Policy
· Students of all class type with a valid voucher can proceed to book into the Term Replacements scheduled.
The school will credit any further affected lesson fee should there be more than 2 lesson cancellations in a term due to:
a. Bad weather (hazardous air quality/ lightning risk/ heavy rain only)
b. Government regulations
c. Private or condominium pool closure (it’s the student’s duty to provide notice to the school/ coach at least 2 hours before class commencement)
d. Coach absence without cover coach available The student may use the credit to offset the next invoice.
Bad Weather Policy
Our bad weather protocol is as follows:
1. Student/ coach to check weather condition one to two hours before lesson commencement using the following mobile applications Rain Alarm or myENV app. Points to note: cloud movement and speed, rain cloud intensity (if any) and class location.
2. If the weather condition does not seem good, student to message in the WhatsApp Group Chat to inform coach/ school that the ‘weather does not look good’.
3. Coach will make the final decision if class is cancelled due to bad weather. Coaches can cancel classes due to bad weather no more than 1 hour before class start time for the following reasons only:
a. Lightning risk
b. Heavy rain
c. Hazardous air quality
4. Lesson will proceed as usual for light drizzle/ rain conditions. If a student chooses not to attend a lesson due to concern over drizzle/ light rain or cold water conditions, it is considered as an absence on student’s part.
5. Lesson is considered utilised once class has started. No replacement lesson or extension of time will be provided.
Withdrawal of Class
To withdraw from the programme, kindly give the school one month's notice via email to hello@swimitright.com
before the commencement of the following month/ term.
Once a new month/ term has commenced, the school is not able to credit or refund students for mid-term withdrawal. Students will need to complete the full month/ term before withdrawing. Students may reach out to hello@swimitright.com to discuss lesson arrangement in the event of special circumstances.
Absence from lesson does not indicate withdrawal from lesson unless the withdrawal notice is received and approved.
